Hello, 08th!

I was creating some images in Photoshop the other day and was feeling a little saucy, so I thought I'd tackle putting a new spin on the 08th logo design.

First, after speaking w/ Lu in AO chat, I realized that I didn't seek permission from any of you to use your logo. In hindsight, he has a valid point, but I hope you will all realize that this was a gesture of good faith and I didn't mean to offend anyone. I have no intention of publishing this logo anywhere, or abusing the 08th name or likeness. That said, I hope you enjoy this design!

A) Looks strange, like a sheriff's badge..

B) You didn't ask permission. Probably would have been good to do so, but whatever.

Yeah, I was working on another logo and came across some red ribbon clip-art. It reminded me of the 08th, so I started adding an 8 ball and stuff, just fooling around. In the end, it turned out pretty decent, so I just thought I'd share it w/ you guys.
